My black and white sketch entitled, ‘The Clown’s Mask,’ is based off a scene in project 17 by Laurie Faria Stolarz. In this particular scene, Chet and Mimi are alone in the Danvers State Hospital. Joking around, Chet grabs the clown mask Mimi found, totally creeping her out. Not only was that thing probably covered in tons of germs, but Mimi wasn’t big on the whole clown thing.
The description provided for the mask spoke to me and challenged me to see if I could recreate the image in my mind.
