Book Review: The Name of this Book is Secret

The Name of this Book is Secret
by Pseudonymous Bosch
My rating for this book: 3 stars out of 5

I love how the author approachs this book with humour right from the start. Along with witty side notes and mid sentence interruptions, readers will develop a love-hate relationship. Something about this amazing (but mostly sarcastic) narrator, really draws you in.

Aside from the fact that the main characters in this book are 11 years old, they were quite relatable. The author did a very good job at making this story seem realistic; I could really imagine myself as Cassandra (the main character). Our young Heros learnt some good lessons, although was not a whole lot of character development from the beginning of the story to the conclusion.

I have read this book twice now and have enjoyed it both times for different reasons. The first time was for the adventure and mystery of it, the second time I enjoined the fast pace of this quick read. Perfect for summer road trips and lazy beach days!
