Just because I’m a girl,
Doesn’t mean I can’t learn to read,
Doesn’t mean I shouldn’t know math,

Doesn’t mean you can have my body,
Doesn’t mean you can hurt me,

Just because I’m a girl,

Doesn’t mean I’m not worth it,

Just because I’m a girl,
Why am I suffering in poverty while my brothers get education?
Why am I getting sold for pleasure and prostitution?
Why aren’t you doing anything about it?
Just because I’m a girl,
