The Long Road

Driving past
I look and see
The differences
In every tree

We then gain speed
It begins to blur
An amalgamation
Where nothing is sure

Would I rather walk
For days on end
Just to smell every flower
No, I won’t pretend

Why, I’d never make it
I’d tire and die
But in the car it goes by
In the blink of an eye

Hello, fellow readers! My name is Ashlin, but what's more important is that I'm a proud reader, writer, artist, and full-time geek. I think that sums me up fairly well.
