Teen Volunteers Needed for Family Literacy Fun Days!

Are you 13-17 years old and interested in volunteering?  Do you have 3 hours to spare in July or August?  Would you like to share the joy of reading with families?

Volunteers are needed to assist families with young children at activity stations: playing reading games and making simple book crafts. Help is required also to set up and take down the stations. A brief orientation will be provided by supervising library staff.  Check out this video to see what it's all about!

Please call 311 and ask for Volunteer Services or visit winnipeg.ca/cms/volunteers for information and a downloadable application form. Deadline is Monday, June 4th for dropping off your application at any library. Past volunteers wanting to volunteer again are asked to contact 311 and ask for Volunteer Services.
