The Clown’s Mask

My black and white sketch entitled, ‘The Clown’s Mask,’ is based off a scene in project 17 by Laurie Faria Stolarz. In this particular scene, Chet and Mimi are alone in the Danvers State Hospital. Joking around, Chet grabs the clown mask Mimi found, totally creeping her out....

Thinking back in my head, this scenario kind of reminds me of The Princess And The Frog. Except… I didn’t kiss the frog. He was cute though.

How Long?

What do you think it would feel like waiting day after day for somebody to return to you. All over the world, there are mothers, fathers, wives, husbands, and children waiting for somebody to come back. Whether they are waiting for that person to come home from war or come back from fighting cancer, I feel this poem represents the pain and worry of waiting, and waiting, and waiting, for somebody to come home when there’s a possibility that they won’t.
