Beige walls

Nothingness, nada, zip zilch I’m bored,
Of the sameness of beige walls down every corridor.
White ivory creme, beige brown and grey,
I’m tired of living my life in shades.
Shades that only a cat could see, blind to the colours right before me, seeing a sunset rise, would be nice, but the colours seem to miss my eyes, that’s the price. The price of living cuz living ain’t cheap, but I wish my colours I could keep, the vibrancy of a brand new day, vibrations in every word you say, the light that surrounds my surroundings, it’s sunny outside but inside I’m frowning, I’m not sure I would even know I’m drowning, cuz I can’t see the blue around me.
